Among the many ministries of RRUMC impacted by the Covid pandemic has been our visitation ministry. Prior to Covid, under the name “Storykeepers,” caring and compassionate members of RRUMC were individually paired with senior members of RRUMC who were homebound or resided in a senior care facility.
These Storykeepers would visit regularly with the person they were assigned as a way of offering a friendly presence and maintaining a healthy link for that person to their church family. While we understand Covid remains a factor and may present limitations, we are nonetheless eager to re-launch this ministry and rebuild those healthy connections to our senior members who are unable to attend worship. In order to do so, we need your answers to two questions:
Are you aware of someone from our church family that would benefit from receiving such visits, and if so who?
Would you be interested in visiting one of these cherished church members as a representative of RRUMC?
