Confirmation for youth in 8th grade and above, is made up of classes through the school year, faith friend meetings, service hours, and a spring ceremony.
Students will learn about the Christian faith, the United Methodist denomination, RRUMC, and how it all fits into their own story.
At the conclusion of the classes, students can choose if they would like to profess their faith and become full members of RRUMC.
This year, RRUMC is encouraging all youth who are entering 8th grade and above, and who have not yet been confirmed, to commit to the confirmation process.
Classes will be from 5:00-6:15 on Sunday evening at Rocky River UMC beginning Sunday, September 18, 2022.
Youth and parent Confirmation orientation will be on Wednesday, September 14, 2022 from 6:30-7:30 in the Chapel.
