School Supplies & Backpack Drive

Eliminate the fear, uncertainty, and doubt that comes with starting a new school year by providing a school supply box to a student in need. We are partnering with 1st Day School Supplies to provide complete school supply boxes from $21.99-$47.99, depending on the grade level. You can purchase the school supply kits directly from 1st Day School Supplies by using the QR code at left or donate online.
We are also collecting money to purchase backpacks for each student at the low cost of $5 each. If you would like to purchase a backpack or prefer to donate money for a school supply set without going through the website, please provide a check or cash to the church office with a note indicating it is for school supplies or backpacks.

Twice Blessed Free Store Sorting – SUN, July 19, 8:30am-1:30pm
You are invited to help us sort donations for the Twice Blessed Free Store today from 8:30am-1:30pm in Wesley Hall.
This event is scheduled for the third Sunday of every month and all are welcome to participate.

Meals on Madison: FREE Community Meal – SUN, July 19, 5:00pm
A FREE Community Meal will be served at our Story Church Campus, 9900 Madison Ave., Cleveland TODAY and the third Sunday of every month. Food is served from 5:00pm until the food is gone. LGBTQA+ Support Group - TUES, July 21, 7:00pm
The LGBTQA+ Support Group is a ministry of the Rocky River UMC which provides a safe, confidential space for members of the LGBTQA+ community and their friends and family to share their joys and concerns. Meetings are held monthly on the 4th Thursday alternative every month on Zoom or in-person. Cruisin’ River - WED, July 22, 5:30-8:30pm church parking lot
Join us for some classic car fun on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of June, July, and August from 5:30-8:00pm (weather permitting). Enjoy food, beverages, music from a live DJ, dash plaques, and door prizes.

NOW HIRING! Part Time Twice Blessed Free Store Director @ Story
The Free Store Director leads the day-to-day operations of Story Church's Twice Blessed Free Store, making sure every shopping day is organized, welcoming, and runs smoothly for both guests and volunteers. You'll recruit, train, and coach volunteers, build simple systems for sorting and stocking donations, manage inventory and budgets, and develop partnerships that keep the store well supplied. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building teams, creating efficient processes, and using their leadership to help the Free Store serve our community with excellence and the love of Christ.
