• Community Block Party - Contact Ken Walker at kwalker@rrumc.org - The annual Story Church Community Block Party is Saturday, August 15 , 12:30 – 3:30 pm. The event includes children’s activities, art projects, music, prizes, free food, and more! Volunteers are needed to make this event a success. NOW HIRING! Part Time Twice Blessed Free Store Director @ Story

The Free Store Director leads the day-to-day operations of Story Church's Twice Blessed Free Store, making sure every shopping day is organized, welcoming, and runs smoothly for both guests and volunteers. You'll recruit, train, and coach volunteers, build simple systems for sorting and stocking donations, manage inventory and budgets, and develop partnerships that keep the store well supplied. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building teams, creating efficient processes, and using their leadership to help the Free Store serve our community with excellence and the love of Christ.

Required:

• Strong organizational, administrative, and communication skills.

• Proven ability to coordinate diverse teams and activities in a fast-paced environment.

• Demonstrated experience building or improving operational systems.

• Alignment with the mission, values, and community-focused heart of Story Church.

Preferred:

• Leadership experience in nonprofits, ministry, retail, logistics, hospitality, or volunteer management.

• Experience working alongside diverse populations.

• Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.

Time Commitment:  20 hours per week. This is split between mandatory Saturday operations and flexible weekday planning/coordination.
