Coach/Referee Training -Thursday, November 30
Upward Season: RRUMC is excited to be starting the 2024 Upward season. Upward is a sports ministry offering basketball and cheerleading to youth in Kindergarten (age 5) through 6th grade. The last day to register is December 15, and can be done online at https://www.rrumc.org/upward.
Teams practice one day per week and play a game on Saturdays. Practices will start January 8 and the games will run every Saturday beginning January 20 and ending March 9, with a celebration party following the season (date TBD). Scholarships are available.
Information about opportunities to volunteer are available online. Volunteers of all ages are welcome and appreciated.
Upward Coach/Referee Training: All Upward coaches and referees, please mark your calendars for mandatory training on Thursday, November 30, from 6:30-8:30pm in the café. If you're interested in potentially being a referee, please sign up on the church's Upward page using the volunteer link.
