Table Talk: The Open Invitation

7/26/2026 - Ninth Sunday after Pentecost. The sermon series, “Table Talk,” continues with the sermon, “The Open Invitation.”

Jesus' table was never reserved for the perfect or the powerful—it was open to everyone.

Throughout His ministry, He intentionally welcomed those whom society rejected, demonstrating that God's grace reaches far beyond the boundaries people create.

This week, we will explore Jesus' call of Levi in Luke 5:27–32 and the Parable of the Wedding Feast in Matthew 22:1–14, discovering how Christ's radical invitation challenged the religious leaders of His day and transformed lives through acceptance rather than judgment.

As followers of Jesus, we are invited to extend that same welcome to others. True Christian community begins with an open invitation, intentionally reaching those who may feel overlooked, excluded, or unworthy. Around Christ's table, healing, grace, and belonging replace condemnation and division.

Join us as we continue our Table Talk sermon series and discover how God's open invitation calls each of us to both receive His grace and share it freely with the world.
