Faith Before the Flood: The Unseen Promise, the Unlikely Plan

8/2/2026 - 10th Sunday after Pentecost. Communion Sunday. Baptism at Harbor service. Rev. Dan Bogre is preaching the sermon titled “The Unseen Promise, the Unlikely Plan.”

Faith is evidence of things unseen: Noah built an ark based on a warning about something that had never happened (rain/flood).

Obedience is the first act of faith: Noah’s obedience was complete, “according to all that God commanded him, so he did.”

God’s timing vs. our logic: Noah built for decades without a drop of rain, a testament to enduring faith and preparation.

Flood waters, when they hit-and they always hit, will either raise you up in the ark that you have been building all your life, or they will overtake you because you were not prepared for the waters to rise.

Your choice.
