The communal meal in Christian tradition inherently involves humble service to one another, following Jesus' example.

John 13:1-17 (Jesus washes the disciples' feet during the Last Supper).

Leadership is Service: The head of the table is also the servant of the table.

Humility as the Foundation: True community requires us to lay aside pride and serve one another's needs.

The Example We Follow: Jesus didn't just teach service; he demonstrated it in an intimate, communal setting.
