Integrity vs. Fear: The Plight of the People Pleaser

11th Sunday after Pentecost. Pastor Paul A. Bennett will continue the sermon series, “Integrity vs. Fear,” with a sermon based on 1 Samuel 15:1-3, 7-24.

Some of the most common blemishes to our integrity come in the form of half-truths or strategic wordsmithing to manipulate the perception others have of us.

Saul seemed the perfect candidate for Israel’s first king but his weakness of character, comprised of tendencies much like this, was his ultimate undoing.

How can we ensure God’s opinion of us trumps all others and avoid following the path of Saul?
