Integrity vs. Fear: Whose Are You? vs. Who Are You?

10th Sunday after Pentecost and Blessing of the Backpacks. Rev. Daniel F. Bogre will continue the sermon series, “Integrity vs. Fear,” with the sermon “Whose Are You vs. Who Are You?” based on Galatians 2:11-14.

Paul was angry with Peter.

The scripture is titled in my Bible, “Paul apposes Cephas (Peter).” Paul noticed that Peter was two-faced because of the pressure he felt from his buddies and peers.

When he was with the Gentiles, he lived like a Gentile. When he was with the Jews, he separated himself from the Gentiles to be seen as Jewish.

Peter did not know who he was and because of that became like the people that were around him.

Paul saw it and was upset because he was leading others to do the same.

Paul did not know whose he was and because of that he did not know who he was.
