All the Good… A Praying Advent

12/7/2025 - Second Sunday of Advent, Toy & Blanket Sunday, and Communion. Rev. Daniel F. Bogre will continue the sermon series “All the Good,” with a sermon titled, “A Praying Advent,” based on Luke 1:68-79.

It is almost impossible to celebrate a holy Advent without going to the Creator of the Universe in prayer throughout that season.

Last week we talked about the more life-changing ways to prepare for the coming of the Christ child.

Christmas lights, cookies, and music are wonderful, but without engaging the God who sent baby Jesus into our world, we are missing the most important part of the season.

It is that most important part that changes your heart and fills it with the joy of the season.
