Distractions are noisy. They always seem to draw us away from what is most important.
We quickly refocus on the distractions themselves as opposed to the most important things in life.
In the text today, Elijah was distracted by who God was in the past and was almost unable to see who God can and will be in the future.
How has our past become a distraction to our future? God is still moving but maybe in different ways than we are used to.
How is God trying to do things in new ways in your life, in your family, in our church, and in this world?
