On Sunday, September 7, 2025, Rocky River United Methodist Church will joyfully recognize Organist Jeffrey (Jeff) Acker for an incredible milestone—30 years of faithful service to our congregation.

For three decades, Jeff has been at the heart of our worship, lifting our spirits, inspiring our faith, and offering comfort and joy through the gift of music.

From Sunday morning worship to weddings, funerals, concerts, and countless special services, his beautiful organ music has touched the lives of thousands.

A Ministry of Music and Faith

Jeff’s ministry goes far beyond notes on a page. His music has accompanied moments of celebration, reflection, and remembrance. It has strengthened our faith in times of uncertainty and reminded us of God’s presence in times of joy. Through his dedication, Jeff has built a legacy of love and devotion that continues to bless our church family and community.

Recognition Services

Jeff will be honored during both the 8:30 AM and 10:00 AM services on Sunday, September 7. We invite you to be present for worship, where once again we will be blessed by Jeff’s music and take time to express our gratitude.

Reception Following Worship

Following the 10:00 AM service, a reception will be held in the Café. This will be a wonderful opportunity to celebrate Jeff, share memories, and thank him personally for his 30 years of ministry.

And in case you’re wondering—no, Jeff isn’t retiring! This milestone is a recognition of faithful service, not a farewell. We look forward to many more years of worshipping together, accompanied by his inspiring music.
