RRUMC Youth Ministry Director, Steven Young, invites parents to a first of its kind seminar called “Tech-Wise Family.”

This event is designed to provide insights and guidance on navigating the challenges and opportunities that technology presents in our daily lives and those of our children.

Our speaker for the event is Melissa Affolter, a counselor and the Director of Content at Fieldstone Counseling. Fieldstone Counseling is a biblically-based, Christ-centered, and clinically informed counseling center with locations in Lakewood and Green, Ohio. Melissa has recently spoken at local schools on screens, technology, and related topics, and we are thrilled to have her share her expertise with us.

The seminar will take place on April 21st at 2:30 PM at the Rocky River UMC Cafe. We believe this will be a valuable opportunity for all parents to learn more about creating a tech-wise family. Students are welcomed and encouraged to attend with their parents. The event is free of charge.
