Honored and Humbled: RRUMC Receives the Fresh Starts Multiplier Award

RRUMC is honored and humbled to receive the Fresh Starts Multiplier Award, recognizing churches that launch new expressions of ministry, reach people not currently connected to church, raise up leaders, and partner with others to expand the impact of the Gospel.

This award celebrates far more than a single congregation—it reflects the faith, vision, generosity, and commitment of countless people who have said "yes" to God's call to serve beyond the walls of the church.

Through partnerships like Story Church and the Twice Blessed Free Store, Rocky River United Methodist Church has been blessed to help create spaces where people from all walks of life can experience community, dignity, hope, and the love of Jesus. Together, we have witnessed what can happen when churches collaborate, share resources, invest in leaders, and remain focused on reaching those who may never walk through the doors of a traditional church.

We are especially grateful for the leadership of Pastor Lisa Thomas, Rev. Dan Bogre, Pastor Paul Bennett, our dedicated lay leaders, volunteers, ministry partners, and everyone who continues to support this mission.

For 141 years, God has been writing new chapters in the story of Rocky River UMC. We believe the best chapters are still ahead.
