Greetings from Twice Blessed Free Store and Story Church!

by Lisa Thomas, Director TBFS

What a summer it has been!

We have been beyond blessed here at Twice Blessed Free Store and Story Church.

Our annual Block Party was a wonderful success, with around 200 people joining us for food, fun, and fellowship! I cannot thank our incredible volunteers enough. They worked tirelessly to make this day special for our neighbors in the Cudell community. Truly, without them, none of this would have been possible.

Now, as we head into the colder months, our focus shifts. One of our greatest needs right now is warm clothing. Many of you know that for years we’ve had a steady supply of coats, but I was recently informed that our main supplier can no longer provide them. This means many of our shoppers may be without a warm coat this winter. That’s where you come in!

Please take a moment to check your closets.

We are collecting gently used coats, jackets, and all warm apparel—hoodies, sweatshirts, sweaters—in every size for men, women, and children. Your extra coat could become someone else’s lifeline this winter.

In addition, Twice Blessed Free Store is always looking for new volunteers. If you’ve ever wondered what goes on behind the scenes, or if you’d like to be part of a ministry that makes a REAL difference, I would love to talk with you. Stop by on a Monday, Tuesday, or Thursday, or email me at lthomas@rrumc.org. I’d be happy to give you a tour, answer your questions, and help you find a place to serve. We always have a place for YOU!

Together, we can keep sharing God’s love—one warm coat, one kind word, and one act of service at a time. Thank you for being part of this beautiful work.

With a full heart,
Lisa Thomas
