Reflections by Rev. Dan Bogre

Dear Friends and Family of RRUMC,

When I was in the middle of the wonderful “30th Anniversary in Ministry Celebration” you all threw for me on September 21, I knew exactly what I wanted to write for this issue.

The scripture comes from Philippians 1:

“I thank my God for every remembrance of you, always in every one of my prayers for all of you, praying with joy for your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now…”

I am so thankful to each of you who helped me celebrate 30 years in ministry. I thank God for you and this church, where I’ve been blessed to serve for 15 years as senior pastor.

That celebration renewed my call to ministry — your love, encouragement, and joy filled my heart to overflowing. God reminded me that He fills us so we can continue to pour out His love to others.

RRUMC, thank you. I look forward to continuing our shared ministry, helping people meet Jesus Christ in the midst of their stories — just as you have done for me and my family.

Peace and Blessings,
Rev. Dan
