Madison Avenue Community Garden at Story meeting for all interested in gardening vegetables, flowers and/or native plants.
by Diab Dar-Issa and Jennifer Schwelik
The 2026 Madison Avenue Community Garden @ Story is pleased that two new relationships with gardening groups in Cleveland are blossoming.
Wild Ones Greater Cleveland Chapter, a group that promotes native landscapes through educational, advocacy, and collaboration, is partnering to create an education opportunity for our Cudell neighbors this season.
We are also blessed by the enthusiastic support of Tom Masaveg, the public programs coordinator at Holden Arboretum and the Cleveland Botanical Garden. He is working in the Cudell neighborhood with children and gardening.
Our two garden groups are planning spring and summer programs with the goal of growing relationships with our neighbors as we grow plants for beauty and for nourishment. The next garden meeting is Saturday, April 18, at 2:00pm. The meeting will be held at Story Church. All are welcome.
If you are interested in learning more about gardening vegetables and/or native flowers or assisting in any way, please email Diab Dar-Issa, the garden leader, at garden@storychurchcle.org.
