Witness the planting of two Dwarf Serviceberry trees in a pocket garden.  

The two trees will resemble hope, respite, a mother's unconditional love, and serve as a beacon and honor to a beloved daughter who was lost this year. 

Lend a hand to install native plants to create a stunning pocket garden with successional blooms from spring through fall to create food and shelter for a diversity of species. Over time, the trees should grow alongside one another creating a unified canopy and the understory plants will fill in to create a beautiful soft landing garden underneath.

This quick and easy volunteer opportunity is perfect for anyone who wants to spend an hour doing good, learning about native plants, and helping bring a thoughtful landscape design to life. The garden's designer will be on-site to share insights about the design process and answer questions along the way.

This event is hosted by Diab Dar-Issa, WOGC Cuyahoga County Regional Coordinator - Westside, and WOGC Community Garden Chair and owner of Paradise Natives, Antonio Zodda.
