Remember: A Promise of Nations

3/1/2026 - Second Sunday in Lent, Communion Sunday, and Children’s Music Ministry Sunday. Rev. Daniel F. Bogre will continue our Lent sermon series, “Remember,” with the sermon, “A Promise of Nations,” based on Genesis 17:1-8, 15-16.

God, the one who makes all the promises will always keep them.

There will be times in the journey that we feel as though God has forgotten about His promises, or maybe even relented on them.

It is the very reason that we as Christians look to the cross. God’s promises all became reality in the cross of Jesus Christ.

We are called to have a vision that sees long into the future, even beyond the horizon.

Our human eyes stop where the water meets the sky to make the horizon. Our faith sees beyond that to a place that God has made for all who have chosen to open their lives to His Son.
