Busy: Irrelevant

14th Sunday after Pentecost. Pastor Paul A. Bennett will continue the sermon series, “Busy,” with a sermon based on John 4:7-29.

The woman came to the well in the busyness of her life.

It was time to get water.

She went out of her way to make sure to dodge the Jewish men. She had it all planned out.

And then, Jesus was there.

Everything changed and the very symbol of her busy life was left behind—her water bucket.

What do you need to finally leave behind in order to live a full life in Christ, rather than a busy life in the world?
