Child of God: You’ll Understand When You’re Older

6th Sunday after Pentecost. Pastor Paul A. Bennett will continue the sermon series, “Child of God,” with a sermon based on Hebrews 12:4-11 entitled, “You’ll Understand When You’re Older.” Rev. Bogre will be preaching at the Cleveland Yachting Club Regatta.

No one wants to be disciplined.

It’s not that we don’t see a purpose for it at all. It’s more that we tend to think of it as something that should be applied to someone else, and that we are certainly above it.

Yet everything changes when we consider our relationship with our loving Father and the lofty goals that fill His perfect plan for our lives.

Just as each of us always need a loving heavenly Father, we also need His “discipline”.
