As Stephen began to defend himself as he stood before the Sanhedrin, scripture tells us that everyone who was watching Stephen saw that his face was like that of an angel.
An angel? What was it that then caused them to have so much anger against him?
What was it that caused them to fear him so much? What was it that then caused them to throw stones at the face of an angel until he died?
Simple! It was what Stephen had inside. It was what he had inside that made the outside, his face, look like an angel.
