Tuned In: A Hands On Experience

Join us on May 12 as Rev. Dan Bogre preaches from John 13:1-17.

The power of touch is amazing. The power of a first kiss, a hug, holding hands, or just shaking someone’s hand gives us such closeness to someone else.

During those moments we are connected and focused on each other. The power of touch can stir up so many things within us.

In the text today, Jesus washes the disciples’ feet. Jesus knew the power of touch and many times healed, helped up, restored sight, or saved Peter from drowning with the touch of his hand.

We are called to be a “hands on” people in our relationship with Jesus and with others. How has the power of touch helped you deepen your relationship with Jesus Christ and with others?
