Mike Slaughter says in the book we are studying this Lent: “More than 700 verses of the 3,779 total across the four Gospels deal with some type of physical or mental healing, including resurrection of the dead.”
Do you want to get well? Jesus comes into Jerusalem to shouts of “Hosanna!” That means the one who had come to save us or the one who saves. What was he saving them from? What did they want saved from? Were they the same thing? Jesus is coming to you this Palm Sunday. He still comes to save us. Do you want to be made well? Is your life aligned with Christ so that what he has come to save you from is the same thing that you need to be saved from?
