Caregiver Support Ministry
Our Caregiver Support Ministry at Rocky River United Methodist Church offers a confidential and compassionate space to lay down the caregiver burden.
Caring for an aging parent, a spouse, or a loved one can be one of the most meaningful acts of love—and one of the most exhausting.
If you find yourself stressed, overwhelmed, or carrying more than your heart can hold, please know you are not alone on this journey.
Our Caregiver Support Ministry at Rocky River United Methodist Church offers a confidential and compassionate space to lay down the caregiver burden. Here, caregivers can talk openly about guilt, compassion fatigue, and the emotional weight that often comes with tending to someone’s daily needs.
This ministry also provides gentle medical guidance to help discern the next steps in a loved one’s care, always shaped around the unique needs of each individual situation.
We meet in a prayerful atmosphere, sharing devotions, encouragement, and loving conversation. Support is offered individually, and group gatherings are available when helpful. This is a place to breathe, to be heard, and to remember that God walks with you as you care for those you love.
