Card Ministries
RRUMC's Card Ministry sends cards weekly to those from our church family who could use a note of encouragement or support.
A handwritten card has a way of arriving at just the right moment.
Through our Card Ministry, volunteers from our church write cards from their homes, offering encouragement, comfort, and celebration to those who need a reminder that their church family is holding them in prayer.
Each card is written with care, and as the writer prepares it, the recipient is intentionally prayed for. This quiet act of love becomes a small blessing—an expression of Christ’s compassion shared one person at a time.
Our Card Ministry reaches individuals recovering from illness or surgery, those walking through grief after the loss of a loved one, families welcoming a new child, and members celebrating special birthdays or anniversaries. We also remember our homebound folks and our college students, letting them know they are never far from our hearts.
