RRUMNS kicks off a brand-new school year the week of September 8.

The first week is filled with several Open Houses for the many excited children who will fill our classrooms this year.

New teachers, new routines, and new friends guide the first few weeks of the school year. The teachers work so hard to set themselves up for a good year; usually reviewing skills from the previous year before teaching new ones. Questions about summer vacations and answers to “What did you do?” can lead conversations in all sorts of directions.

The hallways will quickly fill up with the new artwork, name tags, and children who are excited about being back at school. Some will be quiet and shy while others are filled with nervous energy. They all handle the shift from summertime to fall differently. After the first few weeks, we develop a comfortable routine and, before we know it, it's time to think about Halloween crafts!

For now, we are excited to welcome students back into the building and begin a brand-new journey with them. Hope you all can squeeze out one more adventure before the RRUMNS school year begins!
