Nursery School News
by Margery Wanosik & Becky Satayathum, Co-Directors rrumns@gmail.com
The past few months at the nursery school have been a bit of a whirlwind.
We had many unexpected days off through January which led to getting behind with several lessons and trying to play catch up through the month of February.
Our teachers are finally feeling like we are back on track - looking forward to a more normalized March. Also - secretly hoping for a little bit warmer weather with some sunny days mixed in!
The school will welcome in parents March 18- 19 for parent/ teacher conferences. A few years ago, we decided to move these back and have more time to really get to know the children and save work in portfolio to be able to show strengths and weaknesses of each child. It has worked out well and it doesn't feel as rushed as the traditional November or even January dates of old.
Pre-K will also host their annual Special Person Day on Friday, March 6. Grandparents, aunt/uncles, and parents will be treated to a special program filled with lots of hearts and love!
Towards the end of the month, thoughts already begin to shift to end of the year activities, programs, projects, and songs. Spring is such a happy time around here and this year should be no different.
Registration for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year is still open to all. Please let family and friends know if they are looking for a nursery school. Here is the online link for registration.
Happy Winter!
