Genesis to Revelation

Thursdays at 6:30pm
Study the entire Bible from Genesis to Revelation, including a verse-by-verse, in-depth look at the Scriptures and background material. This study is ongoing, but you can join at any point. They will begin studying Luke on September 4, followed by Romans, 1 & 2 Samuel, Joshua, Judges, and Ruth.

Each book is a standalone 13-week study. Discussions will include word studies, the history of the biblical setting, and a comparison of today’s geography to biblical geography. Along with discussions, use of a participant book will aid the process of applying Scripture to current life situations.

This study is geared toward participants who want to take their faith journey to the next level (regardless of their present level) and are interested in developing deep ties and experiencing multi-generational relationships with other members of the church. Participants are expected to attend as many classes as possible and will be provided with a rich learning environment.

Led by Dave Huller – dave.huller@gmail.com (contact him regarding book purchase).

Ladies in Faith Together (LIFT) Fall Study

“Seen: Discovering the Freedom to Be Authentically You” by Lynne Farrel
Tuesdays, September 16 – November 11 (no class October 7)
6:30–8:00pm in Room 209

The book Seen asks us…are you longing to be truly seen? You and I enter this world with a divine desire to be seen as our true self. Yet somewhere along the way, most of us struggle to live out our God-given identity, and masks become our protection.

As a result, we often end up with shallow or difficult relationships where we can’t be real with anyone, even with God. Is this the way we are supposed to live? How would our stories change if we could shed these cover-ups, discover the beauty of vulnerability, and begin to live in freedom from pretense through our relationship with Jesus?

Through eight inspiring video sessions, engaging group questions, and daily personal reflection, Farrel takes you on a guided journey of being truly seen, empowering you to break free from the façade, and step into the fullness of who God created you to be.

Please contact Lynn Gorton – lgorton@rrumc.org for questions, more information on ordering the book, and to sign up.
