Nursery School News

Nursery School is settling in and finding a nice rhythm.
The children have begun to know their routines and the flow of the school day. October typically is a great month.
Our “Letter of the Week” program started a few weeks ago—so we have begun the alphabet anew! Regardless of the class the children are in, we are all talking about "D" in the same week. Recognizing “D,” learning the sound it makes, understanding there is a “big D” and a “little d,” and writing “D” are all examples of things the children are working on during the same week at our school.
Halloween is always a big hit with the kiddos and this year will be no exception. The amount of fun and new art projects for this time of year is endless. The hallway is beginning to fill up with all the usual masterpieces. Walk on through the school the next time you can and check it out!
RRUMNS is a special school filled with special people, big and small, who care about learning and each other. It is a wonderful mission that is housed right here in the church, serving many families in the greater west side communities.
The staff is excited to forge deeper connections with the people we meet throughout our school year and to connect in direct and meaningful ways so that RRUMNS is always a place of safety and positivity. It’s a place that folks feel fondly about while they are here, and even when their children have long gone through. It’s a place that always feels like home—a place where people want to be!
