Greetings from Twice Blessed Free and Story Church!

by Lisa Thomas, Director TBFS

What’s New: As the weather warms and the sun shines brighter, we're transitioning from our fall and winter merchandise to our spring and summer clothing. It's so wonderful to see the vibrant colors of spring popping up on our racks and on our shelves.

With the change of seasons comes a shift in our operations, and we're excited to announce two significant changes this quarter.

Firstly, we've updated our software! We're thrilled with how smoothly our new software has streamlined our Saturday morning operations. From check-in to check-out, the new software has made the process so much easier. Additionally, it simplifies volunteering sign-ups and updates on opportunities.

Secondly, we're reintroducing weekly donation drives starting April 7. We appreciate everyone's patience as we resume donations. Every Sunday after Harbor Service, a blue bin will be placed in the rotunda for collection. It will remain there until Tuesday. Please note that all donations must go into the blue bin; they should not be placed elsewhere. Once the bin is full, we won't accept further donations until the following week. More details on what and how to donate will be included in the weekly bulletins.

What’s Next: Save the date for Sunday, April 7! Join us for our Family Sorting Night at the Twice Blessed Free Store. Bring a dish to share and enjoy fellowship as we work together to get things done around the church. Invite your neighbors, friends, and family to join us at 4:30pm for games and fellowship. At 5:00pm, we'll share a meal, followed by sorting, cleaning, and organizing the free store from 5:45-7:00pm.

In Appreciation: I want to extend a heartfelt thanks to all who donated Easter eggs, candy, and time to our 3rd Annual Easter Egg Hunt. (Please stay tuned for pictures!) Special appreciation also goes out to our dedicated volunteers who have spent countless hours sorting, preparing, and organizing the store week after week. Thank you all so much!! A special mention to Andrea Kimmel for her assistance in creating our new software. Without Andrea, the software would never have been possible. She not only donated many hours of her time to this project, but also resources! We cannot thank you enough for your continued dedication to this ministry. I'd also like to recognize Jennifer Schwelik and Terri Bialowas for their efforts in clearing out the storeroom at RRUMC; it was a huge undertaking, and it looks amazing!

Peace and Blessings Always,
