“This Time I Mean It”
Luke 10:27 “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind.”
It seems that every January people make all kinds of empty promises. I will lose weight. I will quit drinking. I will volunteer more. I will go to church every Sunday. AND THIS TIME I MEAN IT! In the text from Luke Jesus is asked what we must do to inherit eternal life and we are told to love God with our whole being. I WILL love God with all my heart, mind, soul, and strength and this time I mean it.

Love the Lord with All Your Strength
1 Corinthians 6:12-20, Romans 12:1-2
We take care of our heart, mind, and soul and yet we leave our physical well being out of the call to serve God. The Scripture tells us that we were bought with a price and because of that we should honor God with our bodies. Knowing that we make New Year’s resolutions to get physically healthy, what will we do this year? THIS TIME I MEAN IT!
